Where did the name come from?
My educated guess....

Andrew (Andy) Halkett

He was buried at sea, His ashes were
consigned to the Pacific Ocean,

At the time of his death his wife was living in Vancouver.

Article in Montreal newspaper stated
retired official of the CPR,
was found dead beside his parked car, near Marine Dr.,
in suburban West Point Grey, he was age 60 they say here.
Police reported death was due to a bullet wound to the head.
A revolver was found nearby.
No inquest was held.  So I assume suicide?
He came to Vancouver in 1931, after retiring as
CPR superintendent in Winnipeg.
In 1928-29 he was General Superintendent at North Bay, ON.
One article says from 1928-1932 he was
