after Sir Douglas died she lived a retired life in Vancouver and Victoria.
Educated and spent her early life in Montreal
following her marriage she went to Manitoba

succeeding the late Hedley Shaw and Sir Douglas Cameron.

Hedley was Vice-President of Maple Leaf Milling Co.
Sir Douglas was President of the Maple Leaf Milling Co., July 1920
which controlled the Maple Leaf Flour Mill.

May 14, 1915 he was appointed Honorary Chairman of a committee
struck by the Winnipeg Council
to help returning soldiers.

He was instrumental in forming a Co-op Lumber business in Vancouver
that was designed to help returning soldiers get a job.
