Konopaki Mine

SW 1/4 Section 7, Township 1, Range 2, W2

Owned by the Konopaki brothers from Bienfait
in the early 1930's
They dug a slope down to the coal,
worked all summer, ran into too much water,
 and closed the mine in the fall
Konopaki's I know of:
