and organ at St Giles Anglican Church
Came to Estevan in 1924
School was started by Dr. H. F.
Potter and his wife in 1925
Dr. H. F. Potter was reputed to be the organist at the Lincoln Cathedral
in Britain
but I can not find his name listed in the online database.

Ruth married Kenneth (Ken) Moore who was at that time
was affiliated with McNeil's Funeral Parlour of Estevan.
Her dad sold pianos in a General Store in Allerford ON.

from the son of Clive Butterworth
who was a teacher at this Music School,
at the time of the
Estevan/Bienfait Miner's Riot in 1931.
He was actually shot in the thigh during the riot.
His son Simon tells me that Clive would tell the story
of the riot to his family in England.
He played Piano and taught music.
