Below are photos of Jim Stewart's Funeral
scanned by Lillian's daughter with thanks!
Lillian and her husband travelled to Estevan in 2009 from Scotland,
for an emotional visit to this grave, the first of Jim's family.

From Lillian-
"He was killed when the plane he was training in hit a hanger on take off.
The instructor was baldly injured but recovered."

Funeral took place Saturday, August 1, 1942, in Estevan,
H. H. Ashley was the Church of England Chaplain
He was assisted by the Local United Church Minister.

notifying them of Jim's death

Ambrose was the son of William Thomas Roxburgh Shearer and Emmeline Bechtel
b- May 8, 1893 in Oakwood, ON
d- Sept. 5, 1952, Vancouver, BC.
He married Florence Elizabeth Young Jan 24, 1920 in Winnipeg MB
