LOG BOOKS
In the early 1970's it was proclaimed
we shall use log books at each site.
This way we would know when we were
last at the site, who was there, and
what we did, in a brief outline.
If the place was a mess, you knew who to blame.
If something wasn't done right,
you knew who to blame.
Today, these are like diaries for these sites.
Invaluable pieces of the site history.
All are in my safe custody.
Zymoetz, Meziadin, and Kitsum log books
in my possession
All that have survived
Brown Bear book burnt in the fire
Rest are presumed destroyed
From the Front Inside cover
of the Kitsumkalum Log Book
comes this little reminder
It was either Ken Rowe, or Birke Brookbank's
writing.
We had the old 74 tube radios at this time.
And many times adjustments were made,
realizing later we used the wrong equipment,
or set up the connection wrong.
This was a friendly reminder,
so as to save face later!
