message = Thank you for making the 1927 map available! I grew up on Sec
5, township 9 range 5 and attended Percy School (which just makes it into
the top of your father's map) for grades 1 - 8 after which the school closed
down. Both the school and the church, located a mile firther east, are now
represented only by small plaques on monuments put up by the community. The
school was moved into the town of Kisbey, and is now half of a museum. My
father, my uncle and other men from the community burned the church
building, as it was in danger of collapse. Small plaques on two small
monuments are still there, where the church and the school used to stand.
I now do contract work in various parts of the world, hence my current
address in Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

message = most excellent map. I am trying to find Hoffart Sask. My
Grandfather Emanuel Schilling Rose Weisgerber and children lived on a farm
near there. if you know anything or if the name has been changed please let
me know. time frame is about 1900 to 1950 they resided on farm. thanks

message = Hey Doug, The last time we talked, I was living in Moose Jaw,
SK and we were talking about Hope School south of Glen Ewen.
Well I was just wondering if you wanted any family history on the last name
Ritchie from down in the south east corner of Saskatchewan (Glen Ewen,
Carnduff & Oxbow areas). Please let me know. Thanks Chris Ritchie
