Located on the Canadian Northern Railroad,
which later became Canadian National Railroad, CNR

Elevation- 2028 ft

Latitude- 49º 24'  N
Longitude- 104º 3'  W

Named after Charles "Charlie" Avery Dunning
b- July 31, 1885 in Croft Leicestershire, England
d- October 2, 1958, in Montreal Quebec, age 73
 He was a businessman,
Canadian politician (both federal and provincial),
and a University Chancellor.
Became 3rd Premier of Saskatchewan.

Cyreille De Bruyne
had the western land grant on the site of this siding

Church of the Transfiguration (Anglican)
was built in Dunning ca1910-1915,
and moved to Neptune ca1920.

Most of the businesses moved to Neptune as well.
